MERCURY ADHESIVE DE-BONDER

DESCRIPTION: Mercury M68DB is a de-bonder especially formulated for Mercury CA adhesives. It is a clear liquid with a relatively low evaporation rate that attacks and dissolves cured or uncured Instant Superglue (cyanoacrylate).

APPLICATIONS: Can be used to de-bond misaligned parts or clean up excess adhesive. It also is useful for removing spilled adhesives from work area. De-bonds accidentally bonded skin.

USEFUL HINTS/NOTES: Mercury M68DB De-bonder works best under repeated applications rather than one excessively large application. Apply de-bonder, allow it to dissolve hardened superglue and repeat as necessary. Use in an inconspicuous area for testing. May attack certain plastics and remove paint or varnish.

MERCURY ADHESIVE ACCELERATOR

DESCRIPTION: Mercury MH16 is a General Activator accelerator. It is ozone friendly and used for normal curing of cyanoacrylates, depositing a correct balance of neutralizing ions on the surface, stimulating attrition for the adhesive and preparing the surface for bonding.

APPLICATIONS: Mercury MH16 is primarily designed for fast cure of thick deposits or for post curing outside the bond line. MH16 prevents absorption of the lower viscosity superglues into porous items. MH16 helps bridge gaps which decrease polymerization time.

USEFUL HINTS/NOTES: Mercury MH16 can be used to speed cure by brushing or spraying onto the surface, applying drop wise, the superglue and then over spraying to cure fillets such as on wire tacking jobs. Works best under repeated applications rather than one excessively large application.

Mercury MLT222 Purple ”Lite” and Mercury MLT242 Blue Thread locker are general purpose, medium-high strength, thixotropic anaerobic thread lockers.
APPLICATIONS: MLT222 and MLT242 are formulated to lock all metric & imperial nuts & bolts, preventing vibration loosening and leakage through the threads. MLT222 and MLT242 are slightly oil tolerant, so it will bond some ‘as received’ parts, but best results are obtained with clean substrates. The thixotropic nature of the product prevents run off, dripping and migration after assembly. MLT222 and MLT242 are typically used on mounting bolts, housing screws, etc. and prevents corrosion of assembly parts.

Mercury MLT271 Red is a single component, high strength (permanent) anaerobic thread locker.

APPLICATIONS: MLT271is formulated to lock metal fasteners thus preventing vibration loosening and leakage through the threads. MLT271 is particularly suitable for larger threaded fasteners, e.g. studs and all applications where maximum strength is needed. MLT271 prevents corrosion of assembly parts.

Mercury MRT09 Retaining Compound is a single part, low viscosity, fast curing anaerobic resin used for bonding rigid assemblies of all types. It can also be used effectively to increase the strength of most mechanical assemblies.
APPLICATIONS: MRT09 locks keys and splines. Eliminates backlash in worn assemblies. Locks bearings in place, preventing spin-out. Bonds rotor to shafts in fractional and sub fractional horsepower motors. Locks bushings and sleeves in housings and on shafts. Augments press fits. Restores the fit to worn assemblies or out-of-tolerance parts.
