Waypoint CONNECTOR / COMPATIBILITY NOTES:
All Waypoint Servos (except 038CL-JST) come with JR/Hitec type connectors.
JR, Hitec, and newer Airtronics connectors are freely interchangeable for both male and female. The Futaba and JR/Hitec male connectors (as found on a servo) are also interchangeable, except that the Futaba has a small tab running along one side. The fact that this tab is missing on JR connectors poses no problem for Futaba Rx owners, as the servos will plug in just fine. All servos and receivers on the market today use the same wiring arrangement, so you don't have to worry about polarity being wrong. For almost everyone, our JR/Hitec servo connectors will work fine just as the are.
To use Waypoint servos (with JR-Hitec type connector) in an older Sanwa receiver which fits the connector, you would need to swap the positive and negative wire positions in the JR connector on the Waypoint servo to match the Airtronics wiring. If you want to use an older Airtronics servo with any of the receivers, we recommend that you buy a male JR-Hitec connector (made by GWS) and solder it to the Airtronics servo wires with the correct polarity.
